This is a bit embarrassing, having suggested a paddle - I won't be able to make it myself!
Uunfortunately Aly is away at Anglesey and has my car. I can't get my boat on the roof of Aly's car.

If the weather carries on looking as 'bad' as it is for flat water stuff I could be tempted to come out for some of the white water alternative.
