Last nights AGM opened my eyes to something...That this club is such that it brings together people within a community, promoting social engagement, sport, safety and well being...and from my impressions it does it in such a professional yet friendly manner, it is indespensable.

I was impressed with how so much could be gained by, in the grand scheme of things such a little amount of income, although dont get me wrong what we do recieve is very good!

It got me thinking when the conversation about courses, resuce/training/ability and its costs came into question. I thought of how peoples development including my own could be greatly increased if everyone attended the rescue course, increasing ability and confidence within ones self and confidence in each other. How the club could strive forweard if people such as Graham could be put onto coaching courses free of charge for the benefit of the club.

So my suggestion and idea is, why dont we apply for a Sport England lottery grant. Link Here

1) Whats to loose, worst thing they can say is no...
2) a large amount of income that may not be possible via current methods
3) It goes to a good cause, the people of the club.

Just an idea i would like your thoughts...
