Burrs this weekend?Does anyone fancy going to the Burrs this weekend? I can do either Sat or Sun - but not too early!

I would prefer Saturday but would need to be off the water by lunch. We could do a Ramy run if there is enough water.

Of course it's the Northwest Paddle fest at Burrs as well, should be a good weekend

I was hoping to go to the paddlefest with Conor sometime this weekend if it doesn't rain too much and bring the level up. No plans at the moment but I think Sunday might have the better weather.
Don't want to do early either, but with the festival it might be busy and parking might be an issue.

I can do either day this weekend - anything sorted?

Saturday is best for me but didn't realise it was the paddle fest... Is that why Carl's keen to go????
Any alternatives if it's going to be mad busy?

The festival might be a good laugh actually. There will be a chance to demo some other boats and maybe to enter some "fun" competitions.
I promised Conor I'd take him and we can do either day. Anyone else have any preference?
Obviously if the river is high then I'll be sticking to the pool/canal with Conor, but there will be plenty of others on the river, I would imagine.

Saturday / Sunday / morning / afternoon / stay in bed / don't care ???????
Both days look pretty much the same for the weather, probably dry but
not too warm.
Anybody any preference? Carl & Mel suggest Saturday so that might be the best option. If you're planning a Rammy run go ahead but Conor & I will hang around at Burrs.

Saturday morning is good for me as well - any idea what time yet?

Conor & I will aim to get there about 10:00 ± half an hour, don't know how long we'll be there for - depends on the water and what else is going on.
See you then
