Burrs, 30/04/08It was a small, select group that took on the mighty Irwell last night - Carl, the two Grahams and myself. We had a good run down in a decent level, not high but high enough for us all to play on all the features, as the picture shows:
We also went past the usual get-out, to play on one last wave a few metres further on. I was experimenting with a chest-mounted camera set to video, so that might just have lots of water-splashed shots of my paddle. I'll let you know when it's downloaded and I've had a proper look. Steve |

Thanks for using that picture and not one of the numerous upside down shots! I'm thinking of selling advertising space on the bottom of my kayak! Thanks to all for Wednesday. Graham |
