Christmas is getting close and we need more nominations for the trophy. Please send me a message or even post here. If you send me a private message I might even keep it secret!
I will start by nominating Steve, for no particular reason but the humiliation will do him good. Although the official reason could be loudest swearing heard on a river (Bala Mill Falls). |

| I think Steve as well, because he wears the white hat that means he's in charge and responsible for everything we do including swimming. |

I think i may nominate steve aswell after his jinx comment which has proved clearly untrue.
we know the reasons for his swims now,its not cos of me, it is quite clear now that he is only half decent otherwise he would be with the shufflers |

Only last week I told Carl that it looked like everyone was ganging upon him on the forum. I take that back now, everything is Carl's fault. And he's in charge.
I though a white hat meant you were the good guy?
And as for the swearing, it's not big and it's not clever so don't do it kids ...... unless you get broached on a rock above Bala Mill and think you're a lot closer to the drop than you really are. At University I was once told off for swearing my way all round a slalom course - it worked though because I came third.
If I was as good as half decent then (according to Carl) I would be a Shuffler. As it is I obviously don't even come up to that standard, although I seem to recall that I was advanced on the Southward scale.
Remember, though, I have THE BOOK _________________ Steve Thomas

Steve, I've been contacted by several officials who also feel that you deserve the trophy:
Sale Water park warden (for paddling across the lake without paying)
Burrs instructor (for being on the pool without paying)
Fisherman/Gilly on the Greta (for existing)
Water Bailiff on the Ure (for stopping to play)
Several dog owners with dogs that have barked/growled at Steve.
It's all down to the white hat, by wearing this Steve looks like he is in charge and is always the one who gets told off, or could it be that when we hear the familar question (whose in charge?), the rest of us paddle backwards. |

Actually that does bring back a few memories so maybe it is my fault after all. I don't think it was me that the Greta bloke was talking to though, he was just sounding off to anyone (he thought) was listening.
In any case, dogs bark at anyone in paddling gear.
I've checked - good guys wear white hats, and never run out of bullets.
