I feel a bit of a fraud since this is a relatively "lightweight" confession but someone has to start.
I was the numpty who left his camera and sunnies in one of the borrowed bouyancy aids on Saturday and had to rush off to meet Roger on Sunday morning.
I also went to bed. Apparently I wasn't supposed to do this as if I hadn't done I might have kept Tweedledum & Tweedledee out of trouble so whatever they confess is somehow my fault. I know my role in the club.

Which one am i Tweedledum or Tweedledee
My confession happend because of to much beer and steve making me drink a certain potato whisky.
Me and Graham were the last up and intoxicated as the night before when we thought we saw a light house,so we decided to explore and find it,on the way we found a wheelbarrow and thought it would be a good idea to travel by wheelbarrow rather than on foot.
On my turn in it getting pushed Graham said hold my beer so i can push you, when he dropped it right between my legs upsidedown and it poured out causing me to be stuck in a beer filled barrow with a wetter backside than when i was paddling.
My other one was when Mel had us star gazing and it come to light that i wasnt to clued up about stars and clouds and stuff. |

Right, where do I start.
Doh # 1 - trying to blow up my airbed with the valve still in it.
Doh # 2 - Friday night after a couple of shandys I tried to lean back and relax on my chair. The only problem being that I was sat on my cooler box.
Doh # 3 - Saturday morning I decided to get changed in a field next to the road. Jumping over a fence, I thought that my modesty would be in tact until a chorus of car horns from the ajoining car park greeted my trolley drop.
Doh # 4,5 & 6 - Sea Kayaks and me do not get on! I can honestly say that there was not a point in the day where I felt capable of staying upright. I managed to roll at the first attempt after my first capsize, but this did little for my confidence levels. My second capsize also resutled in a succesful roll, but I'm not sure whether it was at the third or fourth attempt! My third and final capsize resulted in a bail, deep sea rescue (major thanks go to Roger) and ultimately my bottling the rest of the day.
This lead to
Doh # 7 - The walk. I decided to call it a day when we reached the next available cove. Roger told me that the rest of group would be about 1 & 1/2 hours so I after chucking a few stones (not at the boat I have to point out) I decided to have a short kip. Waking up (after what I thought must have been a couple of hours using my finely honed Bear Grylls techniques) I walked up the headland to try to find the rest of the group. As I couldn't see them I decided to walk back to the cars at the put in (a long mile of hilly roads). Eventually getting back to the cars there was still no sign of anybody, so I decided that I'd have to walk back again in case the rest of group was looking for me. It was on this return journey that I realised that a sand filled wet wetsuit and 3.99 beach shoes are not ideal for this kind of walk (OUCH).
By the way phil, I think have come up with your club song -
You saw the whole of the moon by the Waterboys! |
