We are not meeting at the Burrs next weds (26th August) but doing the River Dee down to Chester Weir.  This is an ideal trip for all members and would suit beginners.  Meet 6.30 in the Sandy Lane Carpark.

Sod's law that we're now having the rain that would make the Burrs more exciting tonight. Is it worth mentioning that we need to be on the water as early as possible tonight....I noticed it was getting pretty dark around 8:45 last night.

Hi everyone,
Embarrassingly I seem to have "lost" the straps to tie my boat onto the roof rack  
Will have to have an emergency stop at Brookbank, get home then go to Chester. If it looks like I'm not gonna make it in time I'll text Carl.
No idea where they've gone......
